Will I ever go home?

Well almost two years to the date I am still in the sandbox. I actually will be starting my third project in about two weeks. It's a small pay drop but a little security has value. I will probably end up having it topped off as I progress at the new company. It's that time of the job when the guys are dropping like flies. I will be planning my exit of the oilsands in the next year,maybe two. I hope to have a couple rental properties over that time and then go home and possibly develope some of my land. I am pretty tired of the travel back in forth. I miss my family and of course my wife. Some but not all guys up here look forward to being away from their wives but I truly adore mine and miss her dearly. I really hope that this working abroad has not affected our relationship.
